Original layouts. All templates on MemeTemplateKit are original canvas recreations inspired by classic meme formats. They are not the original photographs, and this site is not affiliated with the creators or subjects of any original meme.

Your captions, your responsibility. You are responsible for the text you add and for how you use the images you download — including defamation, harassment, impersonation and rights of publicity. Do not use the tool to imply that a real person said or endorsed something they did not.

Free use. The free generator may be used for personal and commercial posts, subject to the paragraph above. The site itself, its layouts and its copy may not be copied wholesale to create a competing clone.

As-is. The tool is provided as-is, without warranties. Pro, if launched, will be described on the pricing page before anything is billed; nothing is charged today.
